Therapy Intensive Packages

Structured time for deeper work and meaningful integration.

Some therapeutic work benefits from continuity—not just more time.

Therapy Intensive Packages are designed for clients who want to dedicate consecutive days to focused trauma therapy. Each package includes a pre-intensive session, a comprehensive workbook, three-hour therapy sessions, and a post-intensive session.

01 - Pre Intensive Session

At least one week before your intensive sessions, you'll meet for an 80–90 minute pre-intensive session. We'll discuss your goals, review relevant history, assess readiness for intensive work, and prepare for the days ahead.

You'll also begin working through the first section of your comprehensive workbook before this session. The workbook is completed in three stages, with different sections used before, during, and after the intensive.

What to Expect

02 - Intensive Therapy Sessions

Intensive sessions are three hours each day and can be scheduled for one or multiple consecutive days. The work is individualized to your goals and may incorporate EMDR, IFS, trauma processing, therapeutic exploration, somatic approaches, or other trauma-focused methods.

The workbook continues throughout the intensive, providing opportunities for reflection, processing, and integration alongside the therapeutic work.

03 - Post Intensive Session

After the intensive sessions, you'll complete the final section of your workbook as you reflect on and integrate the work you've done.

Approximately two weeks after your intensive sessions, you'll meet for an 80–90 minute post-intensive session. This provides dedicated space to process the experience, discuss what you've noticed since the intensive, review the final workbook section, and identify next steps.

What Can We Work On?

Therapy Intensive Packages are available for a range of trauma-related concerns, including single-event or complex trauma, betrayal trauma, institutional betrayal, religious trauma, occupational trauma among first responders, military and healthcare professionals, moral injury, assault, and trauma related to medical or reproductive experiences.

In-Person & Virtual Options

Therapy Intensive Packages are available in person or virtually. The pre- and post-intensive sessions may also be completed in person or virtually, depending on location, preferences, and availability.

For clients in Colorado or Wyoming, I can travel to you for the in-person intensive sessions, while the pre- and post-intensive sessions may be completed virtually.

Travel fees apply to in-person services that require travel.

An Intensive Package Doesn’t Have to Stand Alone

Therapy doesn't have to fit into one format.

Some clients begin with a Therapy Intensive Package and continue with Focused Therapy Sessions afterward to support integration and ongoing therapeutic work. Others may return for additional Therapy Intensives when they want dedicated time to focus on a particular area of concern.

For others, a Therapy Intensive Package can be a helpful option when a regular weekly or biweekly therapy schedule isn't practical. Concentrating the work across consecutive days can reduce the need for repeated time away from work, travel, or other responsibilities.

Your needs may change throughout therapy, and the way you work can change with them.
